Do you dream of experiencing the Northern Lights or maybe the midnight sun with Hurtigruten? You are spoiled with the many experiences on offer, regardless of which season you choose, and every season you can experience something new. That's why many of our guests don't just do the voyage once, but they keep coming back to experience the coast several times.
Spring
The spring in Norway offers several "seasons" along the coast. You'll see the light transform, how nature begins to reawaken and get clad in green, and feel the landscape slowly warming up after the cold winter. We also visit the Lyngenfjord famous for its tasty shrimps. |
Summer
The summer's classic voyages offer the chance to experience the midnight sun, which provides 24 hours of daylight. This means you'll have more time to enjoy the scenery and sights along the coast. The ships will take you to the beautiful Geirangerfjord, which is only visited in the summer. |
Winter
Do you dream of experiencing the dancing green Northern Lights? Then you should go in winter. In winter you can also do activities such as dog sledding and snowmobiling in the white winter landscape. |
Autumn
Autumn's classic voyages offer up a fantastic colour scheme, and you'll have the opportunity to get closer to the coastal culture along the Norwegian coast as well as the chance to experience the Northern Lights. The ships also sail into Norway's longest fjord, the Hjørundfjord. |
